MICC – Model International Criminal Court
The Model International Criminal Court – MICC – is a simulation for high-school and university students based on the cases brought throughout history before international criminal tribunals, such as the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg (IMT) and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY). At the MICC, young people from many European countries meet for some days to explore in their roles as prosecutors, lawyers and judges the international judicial modalities of pursuing war criminals.
The MICC understands itself as a contribution to the international fight for the implementation of human rights charta, against the violation of human rights and as a part of human rights education.
